Selecionando o projeto Fonte se abrirá a janela da figura 1 na qual aparecerá  a área de trabalho do editor de  esquemas e seus principais grupos de comandos.

     Adiante  explicaremos a função dos principais comandos da barra de ferramentas.  
     Dando seqüência ao nosso projeto, iremos iniciar  o desenho do esquema partindo da seleção  e posicionamento  dos componentes. Os componentes eletrônicos disponíveis estão  agrupados por similaridade e/ou fabricante e organizados em ordem alfabética,  em arquivos independentes denominados bibliotecas
Portanto, para se utilizar um determinado componente é necessário  conhecer a qual biblioteca ele pertence e “carregá-la” para dentro do  Eagle.Indo em Library >> Use” você poderá verificar que o Eagle  já carregou todas as bibliotecas  disponíveis. ou clicando no ícone


  A descrição de cada uma delas pode ser vista  na listagem abaixo. As linhas em negrito destacam as bibliotecas mais usuais.

      Como pudemos  observar, em função da quantidade de bibliotecas, componentes  e combinações entre os grupos, inicialmente haverá certa  dificuldade em localizar o componente desejado. Além disto, uma vez localizado,  deveremos decidir sobre qual dentre as variações apresentadas  é a mais adequada.
 Obviamente  que a prática irá minimizar esta questão, mas os iniciantes  podem (e devem) se utilizar das informações mostradas na tela  à direita quando selecionamos uma biblioteca qualquer ou um componente  dentro da mesma.
